Samoan Language Week

"E Felelei Manu Ae Ma'au Io Latou Ofaga - The Birds migrate to environments where survive and thrive" is the theme of this year's Samoan Language Week.  The students have enjoyed the visits from some of the matua who shared their childhood stories and experiences of schooling days in Samoa and also the chance to taste some of the Samoan cuisines ..

Te Raukura is helping us to remember the actions to the dance that Kacarwita and Violet taught us yesterday.

Mrs Solia sharing her schooling experiences!

Big Thank You To Nele Smith (Jesse and Zion's mum) for the Koko Araisa (Samoan Cocoa Rice)

Ray is sharing the fresh popo with us and she talked about the various ways that it is used by the Samoans.
