I have been bored at home for some week and I just thought up a character name and it was Captain Breakfast. I did not only make one cartoon strip but five and here they are.

The Seven Kites of Matariki
We have been reading a lot of books about Matariki and learnt the many different ways it is celebrated. We chose the The Seven Kites of Matariki as our inspiration - as we create and design our kites to present on the Matariki Celebration Night
Taonga - Treasures
One of our RE lessons is about treating God's special creation and that our whenua is tapu/sacred and it is one of God's many taongas. We must treat it with care and respect the same way we care and look after our special toys and presents given to us - which they are our taonga too.

Jane and her pandora box which special to her. |
Jesse sharing his special photo taken when he was 3 years old and his trophy from rugby |
Matthew and his special pen that he's been using for drawing it. It ran out of ink but he still keeps it. |
Maggie and her special teddy that was given to her when she was a little.
Jack and his playing cards his cousin gave him when he returned from South Africa |
Jack sharing his dad's Christening cup
MindLab
Walking to Mindlab was all worthwhile. We had fun making movies/animation ourselves, especially choosing our props.
